Washington State has adopted the Common Core State Standards to ensure the highest level of learning for your children. It is my job as their teacher to facilitate challenging, rigorous, and interesting learning opportunities for my students that are directed toward these standards. Your children will be coming home with a great deal of "I Can" messages. These messages promote a positive goal and outlook for why we are working on certain tasks and how these tasks help achieve success.
