Parents! This page is dedicated to practicing the Smarter Balanced standardized test your 3rd graders will be taking in March and April. This test is entirely online and incredibly rigorous. I will do my best to prepare your students for this test and I need you to help with that. Please click on the link below, scroll down to the second green box and click it, follow the prompts to the practice tests for G3 (grade 3) and have your student practice as much as possible. We have been practicing in school, now we need to practice at home. The content is likely still very difficult as we have only been in school for 2 months, but the style of the test and the format need to be practiced. The English Language Arts and the Math Smarter Balanced testing will take a total of 4 hours each. This is a great deal of time to be sitting in front of a computer so we need them to feel comfortable and at ease with the style.
Smarter Balanced Practice Tests
There are 4 green boxes, 2 going down on the left and 2 going down on the right. Which 2nd box? The 2nd green box on the left or right, or are you counting left to right? Or you can make it easier on me and say whether it's the listening, writing, reading, or speaking practice tests.....AND once they start, do they have to do all 99 questions, or can they save it, and take a break?
